What happened?
Lost crypto to a theft or a scam? Pick the one closest to what happened. Each answer shows what to do right now and takes you to the right tool.
- I signed something / approved a site: A wallet pop-up, a "claim", a mint, a connect button. Next: Check my wallet and revoke.
- My seed phrase or key leaked: I typed my words into a site, an app, a form or a chat. Next: Rescue what's left.
- I sent money to a scammer / fake platform: A fake investment site, a fake person, fake support. Next: Follow the money.
- I'm not sure: Money is gone and I don't know how. Next: Find out what happened.
What should I do right now?
Whatever happened, start with these:
- Stop signing and sending. Don't approve, sign or send anything else from the wallet that lost money.
- Save the transaction links. Copy the link or ID of every transaction that took your money, and take screenshots. Don't delete chats, emails or the site address.
- Don't pay "recovery" services. Anyone who messages you offering to get it back for a fee is running a second scam. Exchanges and police don't charge.
How Pursuit helps
- Trace where it went Every hop, across 13 chains, to the exchange or wallet it reached.
- Watch it live An alert the moment the money moves again or lands at an exchange.
- Write the freeze request Letters for the exchange, the stablecoin issuer and the police, filled in from the trace.
Step by step: 1. Preserve evidence, 2. Find the theft transactions, 3. Trace where it went, 4. Prepare reports.
Trace stolen crypto
Paste the thief's address or the theft transaction. Pursuit follows every hop across 13 chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana, Tron, Bitcoin, TON, Sui, XRP and Hyperliquid), keeps watching, and writes the freeze request the moment the money lands somewhere that can stop it.

Never pay anyone who offers to recover your crypto. Recovery services that contact you, or that ask for a fee up front, are a second scam. Exchanges and police don't charge.
