You're in the right place
What happened?
Pick the one closest to your situation. Most of what helps happens in the next hour, and you can do it from your phone.
- I signed something / approved a site: A wallet pop-up, a "claim", a mint, a connect button.
- My seed phrase or key leaked: I typed my words into a site, an app, a form or a chat.
- I sent money to a scammer / fake platform: A fake investment site, a fake person, fake support.
- I'm not sure: Money is gone and I don't know how.
- I bought a token that rugged: the price went to zero or I can't sell.
- Someone offered to recover my money: check them before you reply or pay.
- I'm about to send money and I'm unsure: check the address first.
Do these first
- Stop signing and sending. Don't approve, sign or send anything else from the wallet that lost money.
- Save the transaction links. Copy the link or ID of every transaction that took your money, and take screenshots. Don't delete chats, emails or the site address.
- Don't pay "recovery" services. Anyone who messages you offering to get it back for a fee is running a second scam. Exchanges and police don't charge.
Nobody legitimate will ever ask for your seed phrase or an upfront fee.
